Way back in my first ever post I wrote a list of all the survey sites I had tried and my experience with them. Surveysavvy was among the sites that never sent me anything, but at last I have heard from them. They sent me an email saying I could take a screener survey to see if I was eligible for a $20 survey. I started it but after answering the first question I was told I didn't fit their 'demographic'. This was quite annoying but at least they weren’t conning me like some survey sites send, which send a ‘short’ screener survey and I complete the entire thing then get told I'm not 'eligible'. And they did enter me in their "monthly drawing for fifty $10.00 prizes".
In addition to this screener survey they also sent me info about their referral program, which I was previously unaware of (perhaps because it didn't exist). Their referral program works like this:
"With over 1.5 million members - and one of the best referral programs around - SurveySavvy.com continues to grow rapidly through its referral network. Remember SurveySavvy.com pays you an average of $2.00 for every survey your referrals complete and an average of $1.00 for every survey their referrals complete. This is cash you can earn regardless of whether or not you complete any surveys."
I was surprised that they have over 1.5 million members because they had been so rubbish for the first 3 months. This is also weird because in their 'optional referral email' it says, "the SurveySavvy.com community has grown to over 3 million people". Who knows which is the real statistic, maybe they are both wrong.
It may be that I didn't receive many surveys because I live in the UK, perhaps if you live in the USA you will have better luck. Or perhaps they are just not looking for people my age because they have plenty of 'us' already.
If you want to join then please sign up though my affiliate link. Let me know how it goes, I would be interested to work out why it I am receiving so few surveys from them. If enough of you do this I will be able to make an informative post using all you experiences of SurveySavvy.
If I were to recommend a survey site I have had success with it would be Ciao, who also have an affiliate program and make banners for you like the one below.
Conclusion: Survey sites VARY massively in quality, check out my first ever post for a comprehensive list of which ones to avoid and which ones to sigh up to.
